Mission and objectives

We mobilize volunteers to serve in UN agencies, both in development programmes and peacekeeping operations. UNV champions environments in which volunteerism can flourish. It pushes for the ability and right of people to participate in their own development.

Context

The International Volunteers Day (IVD), is an international observance that the UN General Assembly mandated in 1985. UNV coordinates a campaign to promote IVD every year, building on volunteers' impact in communities, nationally and globally, for peace and development. This year IVD is focusing on the volunteer's contributions during COVID-19. In return, UNV Iraq will provide a certificate of appreciation and post a thank you card to the volunteer on our social media platform at the end of the assignment

Task description

We are looking for 1 online volunteer to support our team with producing infographic to be used during International Volunteer Day 2021. The online volunteer will write/update the invitation email, the presentation, and the flyer that we will use for the IVD day The design and its layout should follow the UNV corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteer in advance.
