Org. Setting and Reporting

The incumbent of this post is responsible to the Chief Field Health Programme.

The incumbent of this post administratively supervises staff assigned to Qalqilia Hopsital.

Responsibilities

Directs and supervises all staff and services of Qalqilia Hospital including:
(ii) Supervision of the day-to-day operation of all hospital departments.
(iii) Financial planning, budgeting and control.
(iv) Supervision and administration of all staff assigned to the hospital.
(v) Participation in selection of hospital staff.
(vi) Supervision, maintenance and timely ordering of supplies and equipment.
(vii) Development of plans for continuing on-the-job and in-service training for the various categories of the hospital staff.
(viii) Maintenance of hospital files, records and submission of statistics on the hospital operation on regular basis.
Ensures proper implementation of relevant technical and administrative instructions, procedures and policies;
Maintains good contacts and working relations with concerned officials of the public health authorities and non-governmental health and other institutions. He should also maintain good contacts and relations with the community;
Proposes plans for development of the hospital and improvement of the services provided by the hospital;
Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Education

Advanced university degree in Public Health or Business Administration.

Work Experience

A minimum of seven years professional experience in health institute administrative post with good knowledge of supply and accounting procedures of which 5 years’ experience at a senior level.

Languages

Good command of written and spoken Arabic and English.

* Conditions of service
Monthly basic salary USD 2935.7, payable in JD at UN monthly exchange rate. Other

•Provident Fund contribution (15.2% of basic salary paid by the Agency).

When the minimum requirements are not met, the Director of Administration and Human
