Org. Setting and Reporting

The incumbent will be reporting to Employment Service Center Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Provide information and guidance to job seekers and employers visiting the center about UNRWA, Youth Unit, ESC services and the CfW Youth Component Project;

Register job seekers on the ESC platform and review Online applications; refer requests to employment counselor and employment outreach counselor; check eligibility for applications for the CfW Youth Component project;

Assist in collecting offers from local community and perform bid analysis in coordination with project coordinator;

Maintain the general files and various registers as required such as inventory listings personnel records of the respective staff, job files and correspondences exchanged with other departments/divisions/sections/units;

Provide support in regular contact with both job seekers and employers to ensure receiving invitations, filling forms, asking for updates and outreaching;

Provide logistical and administrative support for youth innovation and employment hub;

Support Employment Counselor and Employment Outreach Counselor in contact with placed youth and employers to monitor attendance and feedback; filing all related project documents;

Provide support to the ATM cards creation and payments process and follow-up the distribution of the cards and withdrawal of the payments with the youth;

Maintain YIEH stock and perform regular stock takes as per admin team plans;

Maintain YIEH machines and equipment and provide regular reports on the status of all office equipment;

Perform other duties as may be assigned by the ESC Coordinator (such as organization of events, workshops, etc.)

Education

Completion of full secondary education
Successful completion of a formal training course in data entry

Work Experience

A minimum of four years of relevant work experience in clerical and data entry work.

Languages

Good command of written and spoken English.

Assessment

Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which may be followed by competency-based interview.

Conditions of service: Monthly basic salary USD 1,116.10 + SPLA USD 167
Other benefits include compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave pre-rated to the
duration of the contract where less than one year, and family allowance (if applicable).
