Overview of position	Chelsea group is looking to hire an experiences Electrical Design Engineer
Role objectives	Create & develop Electrical & Control systems design and detailed drawings of an HFO Engine Power Plants. Review designs development for conformance with applicable codes, utilizing international engineering standards along with good engineering practices. Develop engineering projects analysis to include preliminary design, calculations, budget analysis, life cycle costs plus equipment selection. Develop and improve existing circuit solutions. Prepare specifications and test requirements documents. Suggest modifications to develop and design to enhance quality. Create technical construction specifications. Perform audit to collect field data to develop drawings, layouts and visual aids. Forecast electrical panels/controls and cable costs. Analyze and respond to issue as it arrives. Develop and maintain relations with the Chelsea Operation and Maintenance Teams of different Power plants and Commissioning Engineers. Comply with all Environment, Health and Safety Procedures and Standards of the Client work place to preserve the integrity and security of personnel and equipment or the Plant Facility as a whole.
Project reporting	This role reports to the Project Manager
Key competencies	Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years work experience as Electrical Design Engineer on a Diesel Engine Power Plant and minimum of 4 years working in an HFO Power Plant. Registered Electrical Engineer Strong written and verbal communication skills Decisiveness and highly organized Knowledge of any design software Team player with ability to work on your own IT literate Strong initiative
Team management	Team management experience is required for this role.
