Intern, Implementation Monitoring

 

 

About the role:

The Portfolio Monitoring Intern will work in the Implementation Monitoring Department’s (IMD) data team and be involved in the (i) automation of portfolio reports, (ii) maintenance of the Project Insights Dashboard, and (iii) analysis and visualization of portfolio data. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

•    Improve automation of various portfolio reports for higher data accuracy and better user experience, among others.
•    Enhance the Project Insights Dashboard for broader content and better user interface.
•    Participate and assist in analytics and presentation of portfolio information to meet business requirements.
•    Participate and assist in portfolio reporting-related discussions and tasks.

 

Requirements:

•    Currently enrolled in a Masters/MBA or PhD program, preferably in business, finance, computer sciences, engineering, or other related areas.
•    Experience in using Python is required.
•    Strong Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred. Proven experience in VBA and Power BI preferred.
•    Experience in text analytics, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), sentiment analysis, topic modelling, time series analysis, regression, statistical inference, or validation methods will be an advantage.
•    Passionate about international development.
•    Excellent communication skills.
•    Ability to work well with a diverse team.
•    Fluent in oral and written English.
