ABA ROLI is looking for a dynamic leader to fill the position of Africa regional Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor.

MEL advisor provides inputs into strategic direction, supports capacity building, and provides direct technical assistance for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning to multiple ABA ROLI programs in the Africa region. The advisor supports implementation of ABA ROLI strategy by implementing high quality monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts. Creates tools and templates for use in design, development and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, including development of theories of change and implementation of various qualitative and quantitative research and data collection approaches. Mentors and assists staff in integrating MEL principles and activities and supports implementation of ABA ROLI MEL policies. Participates in MEL staff recruitment and training. Mentors staff in integrating MEL principles and activities during program and after evaluations. Serves as the regional administrator for ROLI performance management system (Devresults).

Candidates can be based in any country in Africa region (Burkina Faso preferred) and be able to work remotely with up to 40% travel. This position reports to the MEL director based in Washington DC and works closely with all ABA ROLI country offices and programs in the Africa region.

*We are looking for candidates with at least 5+ years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning of international development programs, and fluency in French and English. Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint and demonstrated skills in working with databases such as Access or other are required.*
