The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) office was established on December 14, 1950 by the General Assembly of the United Nations. The Agency is mandated to direct and coordinate actions to protect people in refugee status and solve refugee problems. Its main purpose is to safeguard the rights and welfare of refugees. The Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) unit has as part of its responsibilities to raise funds through individual and corporate donations from foundations, individual and major donors.
With the aim of having contents that allow digital audiences to understand who UNHCR is, what it does and invite them to donate, we are looking for a person to ensure the proper development of the Mexican section of the website and other digital material, in order to strengthen the digital fundraising strategy.

2. Purpose and Scope of Assignment
The objective is to hire a person responsible for digital content generation for the digital PSP strategies, seeking the following scope:

· Create and maintain written content for the Mexican section of the website and ensure a fundraising perspective.
· Create new content dedicated to different audiences (such as donors and supporters) for the email strategy towards achieving donation KPIs and drive traffic to acnur.org and donation pages.
· Keep creative material according UNHCR brand guidelines.
· Develop social media content packs for paid campaigns.
· Develop special content for dedicated media channels such as news websites or magazines to strengthen brand awareness and engagement.
· Support paid search strategy by developing new ad copies based on performance results.
· Oversee planning and rollout of digital campaigns in collaboration with agencies.
· Create and deploy e-appeals for Regular donors, One Off donors and email subscribers.
· Support digital planning processes (forecasting, benchmarking).
· Coordinate with all UNHCR focal points to ensure the website has all needed content following UNHCR UIX best practices.
· Coordinate with PI to ensure all contents are approved and aligned to PSP and PI guidelines and strategies.
· Coordinate with Donor Care team to ensure donors content is aligned to KPIs such as retention and upgrade.
· Seek for new content opportunities by monitoring news and digital trends to align PSP appeals creation.
· Coordinate with national and international UNHCR teams.
· Develop evaluation formats to assess and monitor digital content results such as web page and donation forms traffic, email open rate and social media responses and engagement.
· Coordinate with PI and Regional Comms HUB to ensure PSP messages are included in organic social media communication.
· Monitor social media conversation and develop social listening reports.
· Keep updated social media comments in order to highlight positive mentions, hide negative conversation and drive traffic to UNHCR pages.

4. Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
a. Education (Level and area of required and/or preferred education)

b. Work Experience
(List number of years and area of required work experience. Clearly distinguish between required experience and experience which could be an asset.)

-At least 2 years of digital content and communications professional experience is required
-Two year proven experience in performance campaign.
-Strong background in running online campaigns for customer acquisition.
-Strong knowledge and understanding of digital metrics.
-Desirable NGO experience
-At least 1 years of SEO experience and SEM
-At least 1 years of media buying experience, Facebook and GDN included
-Experience working with digital agencies and managing online acquisition campaigns
-Knowledge of the digital LATAM regions desirable.
