Organisational Context

The International Criminal Court Staff Union Council is the sole representative body for the staff of the International Criminal Court. Through the Staff Union Council, staff members of the ICC can speak with one voice on issues relating to employment conditions and staff welfare.

Internships with the ICC Staff Union Council provide a unique opportunity for selected undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students pursuing a course of study or work in administrative law, labour/employment law, community organising, communications/journalism, or web design to gain practical work experience by involving them directly in the work of the ICC Staff Union Council.

Interns provide the Staff Union Council with assistance for a limited period (maximum of 6 months) and will gain practical experience in their area of academic study. Applicants to the Staff Union Council will also be expected to meet the general eligibility requirements for participation in the Internship and Visiting Professional Programme.
