We look forward to onboarding our next NTD (Neglected Tropical Diseases) Programme Officer*.

This is a full-time position with 37,5 working hours a week to be located in Cambridge, UK.
All offers of employment are made subject to the following criteria: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK, proof of residency and satisfactory employment screening, and references satisfactory to CBM and, if required, a DBS Check.

Salary range £30,000 - 34,000 negotiable in alignment with relevant years of experience.

These are your responsibilities

Project Management Support:
  • Assist the Programme Manager in the oversight of the implementation and monitoring of NTD programmes in assigned countries.
  • Support the analysis of implementation and finance data to ensure accurate reporting to donors and other stakeholders
  • Become familiar with the CBM approval and payment system in order to support grant processing
  • Facilitate and promote project learning and review process at Country Office and partners’ level
  • Contribute to preparation of concept notes and proposals in liaison with other NTD, International Office (IO) and Country Office staff
Communications and representation:
  • Support the writing of NTD interest stories, reports and presentations with internal and external audiences
  • Contribute to the production of the annual CBM NTD report
Operational support:
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for NTD team meetings, including minuting and follow up
  • Undertake other activities necessary to achieve the overall purpose of the postion, including support to the wider Inclusive Eye Health Initiative team 

 

These are your qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent) in the relevant field (Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, or Project Management)
  • Minimum of 2 years with an international development agency in a similar role
  • Experience in project planning, budgeting, M&E and preparation of reports for institutional donors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven administrative skills
  • Strong numeracy with ability to analyse and manage data
