Responsibilities

Job Summary

The OPCW’s Talent Acquisition Team is looking for a new colleague!

As one of the three Talent Acquisition Assistants in the team, you are the fist point of contact for those interested to contribute to the work of the Organisation.  As such, delivering pristine customer service is something that you really enjoy doing.

In the Talent Acquisition Assistant role, you will facilitate the full recruitment and selection cycle of vacancies in a broad range of roles, from CW experts to finance assistants. Your responsibilities include writing job ads, screening candidates, setting up various assessment of the process, and conduct interviews.  You have a constant focus on providing the best possible candidate experience along the way!

Main Responsibilities

The core of your role is to liaise with hiring managers and support them in the filling of their vacancies by advising them on best practice, as well as the relevant rules and regulations. As the HR lead, you make sure that the vacancy notice is drafted and published and provide administratively support at all the steps of the selection process. This typically consists of a pre-recorded video interview, a written test, assessment, and an interview. In addition, your role is to advice the interview panels.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a helpful ‘service’ orientation; be flexibility and able to work steadily with several ongoing assignments. You need to work independently, be detail orientated and be able to quickly think on your feet. As we are a team that work together a lot, a team focus is essential. Dealing with clients, be it hiring managers or candidates requires good interpersonal skills, solid relationship building skills and good listening skills. As you work constantly with IT systems, solid experience with an ERP or related relevant HR system is needed.  Besides that, you possess good working knowledge of Windows based word-processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
