The OECD Trade and Agriculture Directorate (TAD), in line with the strategic objectives of the Secretary-General, provides relevant and timely information, analysis and advice in support of governments’ efforts to improve the domestic and international performance of their trade, agriculture, food and fishery policies and to maintain the orderly use of export credits. 

The OECD Trade and Agriculture Directorate (TAD) is looking for a content coordinator. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of visual content to be used to promote the Directorate’s rich and insightful work on trade, agriculture and fisheries across communication channels. The selected candidate will support the Directorate’s communication efforts and the Director’s Office’s priorities.

As part of TAD’s Communications Team, the selected candidate will report to the Communications Manager.

Main Responsibilities

Branding and visual identity

  • Develop a unique TAD visual identity based on the OECD’s corporate guidelines.
  • Produce a style guide and templates for both external and internal communications.

Content creation

  • Design data visualisations, charts and infographics to showcase TAD data and insights in visually appealing and easy-to-understand ways.
  • Produce digital videos including filming, audio recording, editing, and enhancing videos with animated elements.
  • Develop visuals for web, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Propose new visual and video formats to increase engagement across digital channels.
  • Create visually engaging document formats for policy briefs and two-pagers.
  • Develop creative assets for the OECD Meeting of Agriculture Ministers.
  • Support the visual refresh of relevant TAD webpages, notably the landing pages of two flagship publications.
  • Support the maintenance and optimisation of TAD’s YouTube channel.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Academic Background

  • A university degree in communications, design, journalism or another relevant field.

Professional Background

  • Experience as a graphic designer, videographer, digital content creator or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience creating unique and engaging content for digital platforms, preferably for an international audience.
  • Experience working on multiple projets simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.

Tools

  • Excellent knowledge of the full Adobe Creative suite, notably Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, and After Effects.
  • Knowledge of video, audio and related equipment.
  • Familiarity with other web-based graphic design and video tools (ie. Canva, Adobe CC Express, etc.).
  • Familiarity with desig for the web an advantage.

Languages

  • Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.
  • Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.

Contract Duration

  • One-year fixed term appointment, with the possibility of renewal.

  • Monthly base salary starting from 3 662. EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
