CTG recruits, deploys and manages the right people with the right skills to implement humanitarian and development projects, from cleaners to obstetricians, and mechanics to infection specialists, we’re skilled in emergency response to crises such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Key to successful project delivery is the ability to mobilise at speed; CTG can source and deploy anyone, anywhere, in less than 2 weeks and have done so in 48 hours on a number of occasions.

Role objectives |

Assist in managing the effective implementation of UNICEF’s supported WASH in health care facility Program for 2022-2023 that does not only focus on the infrastructure component but ensure its integration with the software (hygiene promotion, MHM and skill sets to sustain behaviors

Provision of support in proper planning, design, implementation (construction) and management of WASH in health care facility program in line with standard designs.

Compile needs assessment and prioritizing of the projects at the national level for annual construction and completion

Assist Win HCF Manager in ensuring completion of WASH in health care facility projects at national and sub-national levels in timely manner ensuring the quality and its conformity with the approved design

Plan and contribute to construction of all-important components of health care facility including handwashing facilities under the WASH in health care facility program.

Contribute for finalization of “National Health Care Facility Design & Construction Manual” in 2022.

Implement WASH FIT as a risk-based approach for improving and sustaining water, sanitation and hygiene and health care waste management infrastructure and services in health care facilities

To increase awareness of WinHCFs programming through evidence generation for enhanced programming and targeted advocacy
DELIVERABLE (s)

Reports on joint planning for implementation of soft and hard component in target health facilities.

Report on WASH project planning, project design and implementation in line with the WASH in health care facility standard design.

Report the prioritization plan for health care facility and share the list of candidate health care facility needs WASH interventions.

Report on timely implementation and quality construction of WASH interventions in health care facility projects in provincial level

Report on implementation of all the component of WASH innervations in target health care facility.

Report on finalization and launch of the health care facility standard design

WASH FIT is used on regular basis, to help HCF staff and administrators prioritize and improve services, and to inform efforts to improve quality health care

Further information |
Graduated of university (Civil Engineering) with 3 – 5 years’ experience
with government and or NGOs, experience in the field of construction, designing
of building, designing of water supply system and or WASH activities, and or
urban development.
