ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

 

We are currently seeking to fill an internship position at WFP Tajikistan. The position will be based at our Dushanbe office. The intern will support and provide assistance for the implementation of RAM plans using the information captured in the WFP Normative Framework for Monitoring Corporate Result Framework (CRF), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Minimum Monitoring Requirement (MMR). The Internship will be for an initial period of 3 months with possible extension up to 6 months starting from June/September 2022.

JOB PURPOSE

 

Working and assisting within Research, Assessment, and Monitoring (RAM) team and reporting directly to the Monitoring Officer, the intern is expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:


•    Contribute to and support updating dashboards and reports summarizing received data on process monitoring.
•    Provide assistance for implementation of the Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) including compiling data received from Field Offices, Cooperating Partners, and follow-up on the actions as required.
•    Assist with implementation of CFM tools including the sugarCFM or any other relevant information management system related to CFM.
•    Provide assistance for the implementation and follow up of District Development Project
•    Support and assist for conducting training and capacity development events for field and outsourced enumerators on monitoring toolkits, systems and processes.
•    Participate in designing data collection tools, templates, and assist in regular data collection or generation process
•    Any other duties as required

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate programme from a recognised university, have completed at least two years of the programme and attended classes in the past 12 months OR recently graduated from a graduate programme (within six months prior to the application to the internship programme) from a recognised university and have attended classes in the last 12 months of enrolment in the university;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Language: Fluent in English and advanced Tajik language proficiency is required. Russian is an advantage. 
  • Competencies Required: Behavioral competencies, partnering and teamwork

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  • The duration of the internship is minimum 3 months with possible extension up to 6 months
  • Interns receive a monthly stipend from WFP up to the maximum amount of US$1000 per month depending on the duty station of assignment. 
  • WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, necessary visas and related costs.
  • Depending on the duty station of assignment, WFP will reimburse travel ticket for candidates who are nationals of developing countries and are pursuing their studies in their home country.
  • WFP will recognize candidates’ educational credentials from recognised institutions that have been certified by competent international or national authorities such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) or Ministries of Education;
