Overview of position

CTG is looking to contract an experienced Service Support Quality, Document, Control & Audit with aviation experienced for our operations in Mali.

Role objectives
  • Assists with technical expertise in the development & implementation of the mission aviation SOPs in compliance with current DPKO aviation manual, host nation's Aeronautical Information Publications (AIPs), annex 6 to the Chicago Convention and the CAA regulations of the country of registry of air carrier by making recommendations to the officer.

  • Conducts internal audits in accordance with the approved unit's / section's internal audit program & internal audit plan.

  • Conducts random checks & inspections of civilian air operators & military aviation units.

  • Draft of air operator flight, training, or maintenance manual.

  • Aeronautical document control.

  • Provide advice on resources, organization & operational processes on  improvement of controls. 

  • Research and provide business ideas & concepts to integrate within aviation policies & standards to enhance quality systems.

  • Participate in independent monitoring of activities to ensure that policy & operational standards are complied with through internal audits & reviewing programs.

  • Recording of deviations from policy & operational standards with the necessary analysis & correction of such deviations.

  • Review & follow up on corrective action plans & evaluation of recorded data & trends concerning policy & aviation safety standards.

  • Monitor & improve document control & information management system by implementation of appropriate concepts on daily documentation workflow. 

  • Review & provide recommendations on aviation SOPs development & improvement.

  • Perform other task related to quality, document, control & audit activities.

This role reports to the line manager.
