UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, a future

War in Ukraine has caused the greatest humanitarian crisis in Europe since the Second World War. Thousands of lives have been lost, and millions of people have fled the country, seeking safety.

As the war evolves, people fleeing Ukraine have different information and service needs. To understand these needs, UNICEF is working to strengthen the various social listening mechanisms available in the other host countries.

Based on the social listening insights, UNICEF is developing various resources that aim to support refugees to (a) be informed about the available services for them (in the countries they are) and (b) make informed decisions about the service uptake. At the same time, it works to ensure social cohesion and full integration of refugee children and caregivers in their host countries and communities.

How can you make a difference?
