Expected duration

• The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
• Remuneration for this consultancy will be 1,600.00 USD depend on the fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
• The incumbent can be in any UNRWA field of operations (Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, or West Bank).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Development of new requirements.
• Ensure Dynamics 365 Finance service is provided without interruption and degradation in service quality.
• Perform routine administrational and operational tasks, System configuration, and security.
• Support release and change management.
• Perform patching.
• Perform environment, application, and integration monitoring, identify potential issues and risks, suggest solutions and mitigation actions
• Identify and implement potential improvements.
• Develop and promote standard operating procedures.
• Conduct routine environment and application audit to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.


• Perform other duties as may be required.

Qualifications/special skills

Academic Qualifications:

• A university degree or master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, Business Administration, Management, or other related disciplines;

Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience for a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 year for a master’s degree in Dynamics 365 Finance administration and development experience.

• Development experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• SQL Server management and TSQL basics.
• SQL Server Reporting Services basics.
• Knowledge in Azure DevOps.
o Version Control Management (Git).
o Build and release pipeline management.


• Lifecycle Services (LCS) management knowledge.
• Azure knowledge would be a plus.
• RSAT knowledge would be a plus.

• Agile project participation experience
• Good knowledge and sound understanding of IT fundamentals and cloud technologies

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION

• Relevant Dynamics 365 certifications.
• Relevant industry certifications, including ITIL.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience defining tests and test suites.

Competency:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• A high degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
• High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
• Ability to deliver quality results.

Language:
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

UNRWA Information Management and Technology Department (IMTD) is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Junior Developer responsible for supporting and improving an already implemented instance of Dynamics 365 F&O and developing new ones.

The consultant will report administratively to the Head Information Technology Service Centre at Headquarters Gaza and technically to United Nations International Computing Center (UNICC).
