Quality Manager Finance Processes*

in Bonn 

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

Welthungerhilfe's finance department must adapt to future changes in the work areas, especially as a result of increasing digitalization. As Quality Manager Finance Processes, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing potential improvements within the existing framework. You will also be responsible for redesigning financial processes as a result of further digitization. By doing so, you will significantly contribute to reduce risks and increase the efficiency of the Global Finance Team.

Your responsibilities

  • Evaluation of global finance processes (project - country office - head office)
  • Benchmarking (against other NGOs)
  • Coordination with other units regarding tasks, responsibilities, and IT tools
  • Development of concrete proposals for process optimization under the current conditions (roles - responsibilities - tools) to increase quality and efficiency as well as to reduce existing risks
  • Development of future finance processes (project - country office - head office) with a special focus on digitization

Your profile

  • Relevant university or polytechnic degree in finance, accounting or another relevant field
  • Experience in process evaluation as well as in the application of corresponding tools
  • Intercultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills to cope in a multinational work environment
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills both in written and spoken German and English; French language skills would be an additional asset
