1 Undertake administrative duties and provide general ad hoc administrative support to the Principal Administrative Assistant. During periods of absence of the Supervisor, deal with all routine administrative matters, in consultation with the Head of Section.
2 Maintain up to date electronic filing.
3 Prepare files for translators working on reports during meetings, reference urgent documents when required, i.e. working papers and letters attaching all relevant reference material.
4 Prepare and send out documents and associated documentation, including reference material, commitment notes, etc. to external translators.
5 Request stationery supplies and ensure availability of replacement stock, as necessary.
6 Assist with the registration of documents received for translation and the maintaining of records of work in hand and completed.
7 Assist with the channelling and distribution of work to external translators.
8 Perform any other related duties, as required.
