About the role
We are looking for a part-time HR & Operations generalist to support our UK team. In this role you will be reporting to one of our directors, who is based in London. You will be the key HR lead in our UK office, and you will work closely with both with our UK team and our team in Kenya. In your role you will be responsibile for implementing HR policies and processes, supporting recruitment and all HR related issues.

The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-30 hours/week in a hybrid role split between our London office and remote work.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support onboarding and integration of new hires
  • Prepare recruitment materials and participate in the recruitment process, including liaising with recruitment agencies
  • Be responsible for keeping employee files and records updated
  • Be the focal point for annual leaves and timesheet collectio
  • Assist with payroll management
  • Assist with developing and enhancing staff experience and learning
  • Ensure all dimensions of HR information systems are up to date and maintain personnel files as required
  • Support off-boarding
  • Perform other job related tasks as requested by the director


Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles - Required
  • Technical/Sales recruiting – Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills– Required
  • Familiarity with HR best practices in UK companies – Required
  • Experience in leading team-building and social activities
  • Experience in supporting general HR issues and administration
  • Ability to work independently and own processes while collaborating with stakeholders
