Mission and objectives

UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. And we never give up. On Education, UNICEF works around the world to support quality learning for every girl and boy, especially those in the greatest danger of being left behind. The Gender, Equity and Inclusion Team of UNICEF's global education team works to ensure that UNICEF and partners are building equitable and inclusive education systems and ensuring that the most marginalized and vulnerable children and young people access learning and skills.

UNICEF is building a global platform for girls' education and will be hosting major events and be undertaking prominent global communications to advance girls' education. A preliminary event was held in June that generated a series of videos. These and other videos need to be edited and compiled for use in upcoming events: the September 2022 UN General Assembly and the International Day of the Girls on 11 October 2022.

Task description

Existing videos are required to be edited and re-produced for UNICEF events, social media and wider communication purposes. Tasks will include: - editing existing videos to ensure they are high quality and meet UNICEF standards - compiling videos to tell compelling stories and narratives - advising on how best to use videos for communication purposes.
