TEMPORARY CLEANER (G1), Roster Call

Background:

The incumbent is a cleaner in the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB) and takes care of the office premises.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Under the overall supervision of the Procurement and Materials Management Officer, the successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties:

  1. Cleans offices, hallway, kitchenette, rest rooms and storage facility;
  2. Dusts furniture and office equipment;
  3. Cleans doors, windows and walls as applicable;
  4. Vacuums, washes and mops floors;
  5. Washes the toilet accessories;
  6. Replenish dispensers;
  7. Washes used dishes and cups in the kitchen;
  8. Keeps cleaning equipment clean and in working order;
  9. Advises the supervisor of the need to replace worn-out equipment;
  10. Informs supervisor of the low stocks of cleaning tools and supplies and helps in identifying the amounts to be delivered;
  11. Is involved in re-filling the stocks of cleaning supplies and water;
  12. Serves water, tea, coffee to the official visitors and during official conferences and other events in the Conference Room of the office;
  13. Performs other duties as required.


Necessary Qualifications:

  • Primary education;
  • Russian and Kyrgyz;
  • Use of simple machine/cleaning equipment;
  • Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities;
  • Ability and willingness to work as a member of team, with people of different cultural, and religious backgrounds, different gender, and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity;

 

Remuneration Package:

Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 508 Euro/month. Social benefits will include Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme.
Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale.
