Job Description

Position:                            Education Technical Assistant

Reports to:                        Education Team Leader/Coordinator

Supervision of:                  Teachers, VST Instructors

Duty station:                      Yumbe West Nile Uganda

1. Generic Role and responsibilities

1. Monitor and report on the project activities and ensure compliance with plans and NRC standards
2. Work with the community education committees in the planning and enrollment of the activities
3. Distribute and monitor the use of school materials according to procedures
4. Administer VSTIs and ensure learners’ payments and entitlements
5. Provide support supervision to teachers and VSTIs in their work
6. Suggest new methods and approaches in order to improve the quality of the activities
7. Report all protection related concerns
8. Carry out data collection as required
9. Prepare field reports
10. Prepare and file relevant documents as required by line manager
