Legal Aid Manager (For Afghan Nationals Only)

Job Overview

The Legal Aid Manager will be responsible for the provision of technical guidance and oversight of the legal services component of IRC’s protection and rule of law programming across multiple locations in Afghanistan. This will include leadership of legal awareness-raising and information sessions, individual counselling, capacity building activities, development of a legal guidance on the main civil documentation in Afghanistan and the identification and analysis of legal trends and issues concerning the women and girls in Afghanistan. She/He will also coordinate with the other streams of the IRC protection program to advance integration objectives. The Legal Aid Manager will undertake coordination with other legal actors at the national level, as well as supporting local-level coordination with legal actors, as needed.
