Mission and objectives

UNIC Manama is responsible for promoting greater public understanding of and support for the aims and activities of the United Nations by disseminating information on the work of the Organization to people in Bahrain and the Gulf region.

Context

We are looking for one online volunteer to support content creation and management of social media accounts of the UN Information Center in Manama, which covers the Gulf countries, on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, with the aim to reach target audiences with relevant messages on the work of the UN in the region, promote UN priorities and localise UN global campaigns.

Task description

We are looking for 1 creative and motivated online volunteer to support our team with creating designs and artwork used for our public information products, including on social media. The online volunteer will be asked to create a design for - Two newsletters 6-7 pages each - Short report 15-18 pages - Social media infographics 2-3 per week The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.
