Mission and objectives
The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) was established by Security Council resolution 2100 of 25 April 2013 to support political processes in the country and to carry out a number of security-related tasks. The Mission has been asked to support the transitional authorities of Mali in the stabilization of the country and implementation of the transitional roadmap, focusing on major population centers and lines of communication, protecting civilians, human rights monitoring, the creation of conditions for the provision of humanitarian assistance and the return of displaced persons, the extension of State authority and the preparation of free, inclusive and peaceful elections. Context
We are looking for a creative and motivated online volunteer to support us team in amending two documents on the administration briefing for pre-deployment. We will provide volunteer with all the necessary content (however, a volunteer inclined to propose ideas is desirable) and communicate with him/her mainly by e-mail). Online volunteer will be asked to create a one pager document that consists of introducing the UNV Support office to the volunteer.
Task description
Under the direct supervision of UNV FU office, the online volunteers will undertake the following tasks: - create and amend three documents including : the booklet of administrative briefing for the onboarding of international volunteers, the arrival to Bamako message sent prior to deployment create a ‘one-pager’ introducing the UNV support office in Bamako.
