The Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Clinical Supervisor is expected to provide clinical supervision to the psychologists and Mental Health team, based on the needs, of the IRC team on Athens and Lesvos
  
Tasks
  • Conduct clinical group supervision sessions and individual sessions based on the identified needs. 
  • Review client treatment plans and provide feedback to ensure that the necessary level of client care is provided according to the needs.
  • Address any ethical, cultural and legal issues potentially arising in mental health counseling.
-The sessions will be via Teams or in person, on a bi-weekly basis. Sessions will be booked via an online platform accessible to the psychologists and MHPSS manager. 
  • Provide recommendations to IRC regarding the further capacity building needs of the team.
Profile 
  • Clinical Psychologist with at least 7 years of experience in the provision of Mental Health services. 
  • 2 years’ experience in similar position. 
  • Licensed Psychologist in Greece 
  • Previous work experience with I.N.G.O or N.G.O 
  • Previous experience with refugees and asylum seekers considered as advantage. 
  • Knowledge of a Psychotherapeutic approach is considered as an advantage. 
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Very good knowledge of the Greek language (oral and written).
-The suitable candidate should be able to work independently, be solution focused and able to work within the team. Be patient and sensitive to the different cultural backgrounds and have a high sense of responsibility by following the Psychologist code of conduct. 

 

Deliverables:
  • 25 supervision sessions. 
  • Three monthly reports providing information on:
  • The capacity building progress of the team and of the supervisors based on the agreed indicators presented below: 
  • Supervision-Supervisee progress checklist
  • Case Formulations skillset
  • Diagnostic skillset
  • Intervention skillset
  • Suggestions on the next steps regarding further capacity building needs
WORK ENVIRNOMENT: 
Although remotely provided, supervision should take place during working hours, that is Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00 (GMT +3)
