 Job Overview: The Preferred Communities (PC) Intensive Case Management (ICM) Program, funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) offers individualized case management to the most vulnerable IRC clients. In FY22 the IRC received over $30 million in supplemental ORR funds which increased data collection and reporting requirements. The Program Officer, Data Management supports the overall management and implementation of Preferred Communities programming including support to local staff implementing the program, monitoring, proposal writing and donor reporting. They lead tracking of program outputs, outcomes, and objectives against established targets. The Program Officer works closely with the Senior Program Officer for ICM, the Program Officer for ICM Training, the Senior Program Officer for HQ Direct Services, and other departments to develop services to meet individual client needs. This position reports to the Deputy Director for Preferred Communities within the Resettlement, Asylum and Integration (RAI) Department.

 

Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead coordination between the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) team, Integra team and budget teams.
  • Collaborate with local offices to implement Preferred Communities programming by developing action plans to improve service delivery and self-sufficiency outcomes for clients based on data outcomes. Monitor progress toward goals.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and recommended resources in response to questions and technical assistance requests.
  •  Build and develop strategic partnerships with key internal and external partners such as the Research, Analysis and Learning (RAL) team, Program Quality and Innovation (PQI) team and finance team.
  • Support compliance with donor requirements including but not limited to monitoring of local programs, tracking grant commitments across the network; review, editing and submission of reports in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the development and submission of grants management documents including continuation proposals and semi-annual project reports.
  • Develop and deliver trainings related to designated area of expertise, to include webinars, self-paced e-learning, online courses, etc.
  • Analyze trends across the network using relevant data sources and advise the team on best course of action.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field of study preferred.

 

Work Experience:

  • Relevant professional experience in human services field required; minimum of 3 years’ experience strongly preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving purposes.

Working Environment:

  • A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities.
  • Occasional domestic (non-local) travel required; up to 20%.
  • May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
