With an investment of approximately 1.3 billion euros allocated within the PNRR framework, the new constellation will be built in Italy and completed within five years.  It will have institutional purposes and will be used to support the Civil Protection and other State administrations and bodies to implement measures against hydro-geological instability, to protect the coastline and prevent fires, monitor critical infrastructures, air quality, and weather conditions. Further, it will be able to provide analytical data for the development of commercial applications by start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and industries.
