Translating 10 descriptions of assignments (DoAs) in UNDP SURGE profiles such as waste-management, gender, monitoring & evaluation into French, Spanish and Portuguese. Following translating, the DoAs are requested to be edited and proofread.

Task description

We are seeking three Online Volunteers to support us by translating templates of Description of Assignments (DoA) for UN Volunteer assignments with the UNDP Crisis Bureau. Each volunteer is asked to translate the DoA templates from English to either Spanish, French, or Portuguese, based on their language skills. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the document, which in total are 10 Descriptions of Assignment (DoA) into Spanish, French, or Portuguese - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the documents in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed. The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections within UNV and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to the integration of volunteers into the UN system and the overall promotion of volunteerism.
