Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for the development and implementation of AIIB’s human resource strategies, policies, and programs to attract, hire, develop and retain talents. HRD also provides advice on Human Resources and Corporate Culture related issues to ensure that all relevant policies and actions are aligned with, and supporting the realization of AIIB’s mission, vision, corporate culture, corporate strategy and business goals, specifically in the areas of strategic staffing, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, succession planning, training and development, compensation and benefits, and recognition and rewards. 

 

HR Operations team manages many key HR initiatives, such as development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, procedures, workplace planning and change management, people analytics and reporting, outsourced staff management, HR solutions in on/offboarding and flexible working arrangement, HR system development, etc.

 

HRD Operations team is looking for an Analyst to support the implementation and coordination of HR operational work as well as administration of HR transactions and service delivery such as: workforce planning, budget administration, contract management, on/offboarding, flexible working arrangement, HR system maintenance, etc. 

 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Support to deliver day to day services to internal clients and respond to questions on basic administrative HR procedures and practices, preparing office memo and correspondence when required.
  • Help to prioritize service delivery solutions to meet the client needs and support business process simplification.
  • Manage the administrative process of staff contract management, including probationary confirmation, contract extension, staff mobility, etc.
  • Support the administration of departmental budget including budget planning, forecasting, monitoring execution and reporting.
  • Support the secondment program, including the communication with internal and external clients, coordination on candidate selection, secondment agreement, on/offboarding, etc.
  • Using the existing HR information systems, conduct data collection and update (e.g., personnel records, employee moves/transfers and promotions, etc.), general research, analysis, and interpretation of data.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate staff data in the HR system to support payroll process.
  • Contribute to HR policy development by providing feedback on the implementation and identifying areas of improvement and efficiency gains, and facilitate as appreciate and necessary.
  • Contribute to HR internal/external audit and other across-department cooperation.
  • Provide support to employee assistance and client services including routine inquiries from client departments on HR programs and policies, flexible working arrangement, workspace management, , on/off-boarding, schooling, vendor management, etc.
  • Perform other assignments and projects as determined by supervisors.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant HR working experience preferably gained in international organizations or financial service sectors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and thorough understanding of HR policies, practices and systems.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling sensitive HR issues.
  • Strong analytical and research skills. Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts figures and number crunching.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Experience with transactional work and ability to present information clearly, concisely, and compassionately both orally and in writing
  • Experience of working in a multi-national environment with a diverse workforce.
  • Experience working with HR information systems or similar HR tools. Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a strong preference.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting work priorities and demands. Remains calm and positive under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and attend to details while staying focused on key priorities.
  • Excellent service mind and client service skills with demonstrated creative problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in human resources, business administration, behavioural sciences, international relationships, communications, and other related fields from a reputable university.
