Translating & designing using templates (English to Russian) for IVD 2022

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide.

Context

UNV coordinates IVD on 5 December annually to recognize and promote the tireless work, not just of UN Volunteers, but of volunteers across the globe. On International Volunteer Day (IVD) 2022, we celebrate our theme of solidarity through volunteering. For the future of our planet, we must act together, and we must act now. This is not an era to stand alone but together, as one, in solidarity with each other. Online Volunteer will help our office with designing (using already existing templates) to be used mainly in our social media pages during IVD and beyond.

Task description

We are looking for one creative and motivated online volunteer to support our office on graphic design with creating Russian versions of English graphic templates already created for celebrating International Volunteer Day. There will be approx. 20 templates overall (±4 per week). The volunteer must have experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, as well as some translating experience (English to Russian). The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with our team and support UNV in promoting the value and global recognition of volunteerism.
