About the job

DRC introduced a new global ERP system in 2019, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (internally called DRC Dynamics). The ERP system launch led to constant effort for further implementation, support, and optimisation. Supply Chain functionalities are still to be implemented in a third of our operations. In order to complete the roll out in all countries, we are recruiting additional support staff to provide direct training of users and support country offices to be fully operational in DRC Dynamics.

The Supply Chain Advisor will report to the Head of Supply Chain in DRC, who is also the Business Process Owner (BPO) of “Procure to Provide” covering; Master Data, Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets and Inventory & Warehouse Management). The Supply Chain Advisor will be part of the core team dedicated to DRC Dynamics further roll-out.

The main duties and responsibilities will be

  • Travel to regional and/or country offices and provide in-situ training to key users
  • Review the existing training materials and suggest adjustments as found fit
  • Develop an understanding between the business guidelines/policies/processes and DRC Dynamics
  • Assist in updating existing policies as precondition for development of training material
  • Coordinate the data migration and clean-up and provide technical support to the operations
  • Support the Regional and Country offices to incorporate “off-line” data into DRC Dynamics
  • Provide ongoing support to the key users in all regional/country offices during the implementation phase
  • Aim to always improve user-experience when it comes to ERP system functionality, business processes and support materials
  • Identify system configurating issues and take a proactive role in finding solutions or escalating the issue to the HQ competency center

  • HQ, Regional and Country Offices
  • ERP implementation team and Competency Center
  • DRC Supply Chain staff and other support functions as appropriate

About you

To be successful in this role we expect the following:

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of Supply Chain operation with NGOs/UN or similar international organizations, preferably both HQ and field experience
  • University Degree (Supply Chain, Business administration, IT or similar), minimum Bachelor, Master preferred.
  • Experience of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Experience in training diverse staff group
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to reach people with different capacities and cultural background
  • English and French (fluent)

We offer

Contract length: Until 31 December 2023 (with possible extension subject to available funds)

Workplace: Preferably HQ, Copenhagen. For exceptional candidates, DRC may accept remote (in one of DRC’s regional/country offices)

Start date: as soon as possible

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC (agreement for academics). This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
