Mission and objectives

MISSION: Empowering men, women, youths and the disadvantaged with the tools necessary to help them improve the quality of their lives. We want the oppressed, the poor and less privileged to live a life of meaning and worth. Key programs of Goodness and Mercy Missions since 2007 are: Women Economic empowerment initiatives, child sponsorship, hassle free education for underprivileged children, computer training and youth livelihood projects.

Context

Goodness and Mercy Missions provides tools and means to the underprivileged in Cameroon. It is a non profit registered organization that was started in 2007. Programs are; women economic project, child sponsorship, educational program, computer training and other community development ventures. Volunteers will create video clips highlighting any of these activities or some of these activities put together. Communication will be via email, WhatsApp, phone or any other relevant medium. Communication will be in English and French language is also accepted. Volunteers can work in teams or on individual basis.

Task description

Goodness and Mercy Missions help the rural poor, providing tools and means to the underprivileged in Cameroon for a sustainable livelihood. Key projects are women economic empowerment, child sponsorship, ICT, and community development initiatives. Much of the work done by GMM has not been documented by way of video content. Interested partners of the organization desire to see some of these work activities highlighted in video format. GMM looks for online volunteers who will help create short video clips of the organization that would be uploaded on YouTube or vimeo. Material for these video content will be provided by Goodness and Mercy Missions, and explanations on content and said activities handed over to volunteers. All material will center around the work done by Goodness and Mercy Missions in Cameroon.
