Terms of Reference

Background information/Organizational Context
To support UNHCR Korea in its efforts to advocate for the cause of refugees and asylum-seekers in Korea and; private sector partnerships; face-to-face (F2F) fundraising campaign.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Training support
- Assist in preparing new F2F Fundraisers’ training
- Assist in research of and sharing motivational contents
- Monthly routine
- Create at least one new training material (PPT) per month on various topics/contents

2. Performance management support
- Assist in recording performance data
- Daily update of donor data information
- Daily update of agency performance
- Assist in keeping record of complaints
- Sort and summarize complaint records per agency on the file according to raw data shared by agency managers

3. Support in Location management for F2F campaigns
- Booking (free-of-charge) event venues (venue research, conducting cold calls, drafting official letters and proposals)
- Check if there is any duplicated location site among agencies on a weekly basis
- Event preparations (assistance in producing event materials, packing event
materials, event kit maintenance, event booth installation, etc)
- Assist in managing and keeping record of official letters and proposals

4. Material management support
- Assist in preparing campaign materials
- Obtaining quotations per material and selecting the most qualified vendor
- Design (Illustration, Photoshop)
- Assist in inventory management
- Assist in packing / dispatching campaign materials
- Bi-weekly routine: providing a pack of photos approved by UNHCR Media with detailed story lines provided for each picture (minimum 5 photos per pack)

5. Support for PSP team
- PSP & F2F meeting preparations and recording meeting minutes
- Online monitoring
- Document tasks (translation, drafting official letters, etc)
- Donor data entry

6. Perform other duties as required; such as on-site campaign support, F2F event support, etc.

Minimum qualifications required
• Be a recent graduate (studies completed within two years of applying) or current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by UNESCO; and
• Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of the Organization

COVID-19 Requirement
• Engagement as an intern in UNHCR is subject to proof of vaccination against COVID-19
