Student Assistant MEAL Team*

in Bonn

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. The position is remunerated with 14 Euro per hour.

As Student Assistant for our MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) team you will have the opportunity to gather work experience in various projects in the MEAL sphere (e.g. Evaluations, Impact Reporting, Surveys) by supporting the team in their daily activities.

Your responsibilities

Support of the MEAL Team in the sphere of

  • Evaluation Management
  • Updating internal monitoring systems
  • Updating Internal Knowledge Management systems
  • Meeting, Workshop and Event-Management
  • Creating/editing presentations

Your profile

  • You are currently enrolled at a university, ideally in the field of social sciences, economics, or international relations
  • You have very good computer skills, especially in Office applications such as MS Teams
  • You are characterized by a high degree of organizational diligence as well as a conscientious, precise, and reliable way of working
  • You enjoy activities in the context of development policy, including the analysis of data and visualization of results
  • Very good written and spoken English language skills are required, German and French language skills are an asset
