Description
Under the direct authority of the Head of the End-User Projects and Access Governance Section, you will design, document, validate and implement new IT service solutions based on Microsoft Cloud commercial offering.
Duties
Your duties as IT Cloud Service Architect will include:
- defining and documenting processes and procedures to operate and maintain the services offered by Microsoft Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure and Microsoft 365);
- designing new services and/or solutions based on Microsoft Cloud platforms, aiming to improve existing system performances, processes, and functions focusing on the impact on end users;
- planning, monitoring and executing the implementation of new IT services based on MS Cloud platforms;
- monitoring and managing the performance of the IT services offered on MS Cloud platforms (managing incidents, priorities, issues, changes, releases, configurations, assets, etc.), to ensure compliance with SLA requirements and implement mitigation actions in the event of non-fulfilment of agreements;
- ensuring that ESA and departmental policies, standards and guidelines are implemented in the design (systems and processes) of new IT services on MS Cloud platforms;
- providing input for the strategic planning process, investment plans and annual work planning processes along with the related budget preparation and revision exercises.

A master's degree in information technology is required for this post.
Additional requirements
A minimum of five years of in-depth experience in designing, implementing and operating IT services on Microsoft platforms is required.
Solid documented experience in designing IT solutions in a structured ITIL environment with more than 5,000 users would be an asset.

The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
