What will you do in this position?

You will support all Supply Chain Information Management activities and contribute to dissemination and presentation of accurate and timely data, documenting the status of supply chains and constraints experienced across the operation.

Many of those who remain have lost their livelihoods, especially in areas close to the front lines. Many who have returned to liberated areas around the capital, Kyiv, are struggling to rebuild their lives, having run out of money or found their homes reduced to rubble.

How can you make a difference?

In this position you will have to:

1.    Regularly document the status of supply chains and constraints across food retailers, processors, transporters, and producers.
2.    Graphically illustrate (i) logistics capacities & supply routes, (ii) the food pipeline, (iii) convoys & (iv) handover to CPs.
3.    Collaborate with counterparts internally within Supply Chain units, especially within the Prisma team and the Logistics Cluster IM team, to ensure consistency in information related to Supply Chain, to complement analysis and information at a country office-level.
4.    Closely liaise with the Country Office OIM team, ensuring Supply Chain inputs are provided for the Internal and External Sitreps in a timely and accurate manner.
5.    Maintain close coordination with Supply Chain counterparts in the units, requesting information and data for the OIM products.
6.    Support the preparation of Supply chain data for the Annual Corporate Report (ACR) for the Annual Reporting Exercise in collaboration with the country office OIM team.
7.    Support the collation, analysis, and communication of critical information, pertaining to the supply chain operational environment, facilitating access to timely and accurate information used at country level, such as providing quantitative updates on the food distributed to date and the food pipeline.

In addition to the above, below more specific key accountabilities:
8.    Draft Concept of Operations to summarize the Supply Chain strategy, as requested by supervisor
9.    Support the initiatives for developing improved, streamlined, and harmonized OIM products within Supply Chain such as sitreps, high level briefs, infographics, maps, dashboards and talking points.
10.    Attend Supply Chain meetings and drafts concise meeting minutes to be shared with all participants
11.    Support the assurance of defined quality standards in all processes and products.
12.    Other as required.

Education:  First University degree in Communications, Graphic Design, International Affairs, Logistics and Supply chain or other field relevant to international development assistance.

 

Experience: Five or more years’ experience in logistics and preferably at least two years of experience in Information Management. Experience in graphic design is preferable. University level degree may substitute part of the required experience.

 

Knowledge & Skills: Good analytical skills: ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; ability to work in a team and establish effective working relations with persons of different national and cultural backgrounds.

 

Language: Fluency (level C) in both in English and Ukrainian languages.
