Role objectives
  • Assist in the screening, identification, and registration of beneficiaries in accordance with indicated vulnerability criteria at the Kandahar Transit Center; 

  • Assist in the provision of hot meals, health services, and other available support to returnees at the Kandahar Transit Center; 

  • Encode the beneficiary screening and assistance forms and ensure the issuance of IOM beneficiary cards to those returnee cases which are referred to IOM for post-arrival assistance;

  • The incumbent should have a full presence at Kandahar Transit Centre (KTC) and  Reception center during day shift as required by the nature of operation;

  • Ensure that IOM non-food kits and WFP food packages are well stocked in Kandahar Transit Centre (KTC), considering the standards of warehousing the non-food items;

  • Receives the distribution manifest from IOM CBRR staff in KTC and supports the distribution process accordingly;

  • Assist CBRR team personnel in the identification women with specific need and referral to protection unit for other specialized services;

  • Prepare the monthly report on the distribution of the NFIs, and WFP food;

  • Travel to other provinces, including Nimroz, Nangarhar, and Herat, to support the cross-border return response and;

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education:

·University degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited academic institution.

Experience:

·One year of relevant professional experience.

·Experience in screening, data collection, interviews, assessment, warehouse management, admin and finance, and monitoring; and,

·Experience in using office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheets and data analysis.

Languages

•      Fluency English, Dari and Pashto
