The IFRC is headquartered in Geneva, with regional and country offices throughout the world. The Digital and IT department coordinates and provides all information and communications technology services for the IFRC globally acting as “One IT” for “One Secretariat”. It has its director, global planning, architecture, project management and business partnership functions based in Geneva while it has its IT operations services based in Budapest, Hungary.
Job Purpose
Scope of the mission
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is looking for a SQL Developers to support our ERP implementation project, specifically the data integration and migration in order to expand the capacity of the existing international ERP team.
Technical context
As a part of the data integration team, SQL Developers will be responsible for data transfers between ERP and legacy systems.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Scope of the current request
SQL Developers will start to carry out the following tasks:
- SQL code development for extracting, transforming, and loading data
- Transferring data between servers or databases
- Synchronizing datasets (insert/delete/update)
- Develop and fill in auxiliary tables like mapping tables, rules, etc.
- Ensure data quality, perform data cleansing
- End to end testing of developed solution, reconciliation of the data.

Experience
- independent, self-starters
- 5 years minimum of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (T-SQL scripts, queries, views, tables, stored procedures, functions, etc.).
- 1 year experience designing and building interfaces between two general ledger systems with different financial dimensions, or demonstrated equivalent ability
- Experience with Test-Driven Development
- Finance background (understanding finance processes and transactions). 1 year of experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Languages
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 or UNIT4 Financials would be considered as advantage.

Duration
The mission should start immediately with an occupation rate of 100%. Start with 6 month contract with possibility to extend. This is based on the current budget allocated but due to second phase development the duration can be extended.
