Purpose for the job
The holder of the temporary post will be reporting to the Deputy Representative for guidance, training, and supervision. The Planning Associate will bring support on planning, reporting and budget tasks required for Programme at the UNICEF Peru CO. Planning Associate is expected to cover a variety of tasks linked to a specific work plan. While detailed instructions will be given to the incumbent, the volume and variety of work require the incumbent to check own work and to take initiative in identifying potentially problematic situations and discussing with supervisor. Tasks are expected to be met with high quality, responsive, commitment and timely, showing CRITAS values during the assignment. Under the supervision of the P4 Deputy Representative, performs a variety of specialized tasks to support the planning, and programming processes as well as specialized tasks of the analysis, preparation, monitoring, guidance and control of the budget, involving several different sources of funds for the Country Office. Under the supervision of the Deputy Representative coordinates the process of preparation of donor reports and office end of the year report, especially regarding results assessment module and summary narrative. |

QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have:
1. Education
Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university studies in industrial engineering and/or budget/accounting.
2. Work Experience
Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible in planning, budget or programme administrative work is
required.
3. Language
Spanish is mandatory and an advanced level of English is required.
