As designated representative of the UN Secretary-General, RC leads and strategically positions the United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in support of national priorities, development strategies, and plans. Context

RCO supports the mobilization of UN Volunteers. In 2021, 84 UN Volunteers from Indonesia and twelve other countries served across 12 UN agencies in the country. Former and serving UN Volunteers reflect and write about their volunteer experience. The stories are published in the UNV global website (https://www.unv.org/) and/or social media, during the International Days and Weeks observed by United Nations (https://www.un.org/en/observances/international-days-and-weeks) and other relevant occasions. The stories inspire people around the world, by reading unique experiences of UN Volunteers gained during their assignments assisting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
