Digital Program Analyst/Associate - Loan Management Business Analyst

The Information Technology Department (ITD) is looking for an analyst or associate who will be responsible for conducting a review of business processes, digital capabilities, needs, and technology gaps and help identify, implement and support appropriate business solutions in AIIB's core investment management - loan administration business areas. This role is onsite in Beijing, China.

 

The selected analyst or associate will work in a start-up, fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment. They will have the opportunity to drive IT process design. They will be exposed to cutting-edge cloud technology and a multilateral development bank’s business environment, where they can hone skills in business analysis, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, communication, project management, risk management, among others.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between ITD and business departments and serve as a subject matter expert for queries related to loan management business processes, specializing in nonsovereign-backed financing (NSBF).
  • Lead the data gathering and prioritization of business requirements, business process modeling, impact analysis, feasibility studies, and identification of IT solutions for NSBF business operations. Support solution design and full project cycle delivery.
  • Support digital program specialists in building/enhancing systems for loan management business areas, such as loan management information systems, client portals, etc.
  • Provide enhancement and operations support for IT systems used by NSBF business operations, including but not limited to analyzing new initiatives and process changes, supporting production troubleshooting, enhancing the quality of ongoing IT products and services, utilizing IT data for more business insights, etc.
  • Work closely with various IT teams - such as infrastructure, data management, IT security, and risk management - to ensure full coverage of IT requirements when rolling-out new products and services to business users and maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring.
  • Ensure that processes comply with IT governance processes and procedures and AIIB’s audit and control requirements.
  • Own business process and requirements documentation; be responsible for retaining and transferring business knowledge internally.
  • Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant IT experience or equivalent for IT Analyst, minimum 3-5 years of relevant IT experience or equivalent for IT Associate, including a minimum of 2 years of working experience as a business analyst involved in IT system implementation or business enhancement support.
  • Good understanding of loan management business, experiences, or knowledge of the NSBF business operations of multilateral development banks is a big advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of requirement elicitation and specification, process flows, and developing business use case scenarios.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of process modeling, agile, and waterfall IT system rollout methodologies.
  • Results-oriented with an ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and engagement skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluency in oral and written English is a must.
  • Strong learning capability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Master’s degree or higher in computer engineering, business administration, or related fields from a reputable university, or equivalent experience.
