We are looking for an engaged Programme Manager Projects & Processes who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment. 

 

The Scope 

Support FSC on its journey towards more project & process management knowledge by both managing projects, hire and lead a project & process management team and empowering internal project managers to successfully execute their projects. 

 

Main Roles and Responsibilities  

  • To develop and implement a supporting infrastructure and professional training for internal project managers across different units at FSC (including but not limited to project management documents, project management system and system training, trainings on successful project management) in order to empower our current and future project managers.  
  • Lead and drive execution of a few cross-functional projects with a high complexity.  
  • Built up a continuous learning and mentoring environment for internal project managers for continuous improvement of our project delivery capabilities. 
  • Set up a new team for projects & processes within the unit of Organisational Effectiveness. 
  • Encourage cross functional process development, alignment, and documentation. 
  • Support the implementation of KPI’s/OKRs to allow for better focus and targeted execution of projects.  

 

Qualification, Experience and Skills  

Education and Training:  

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration or economics). Further academic qualifications (e.g., Master’s, MBA) preferred but not essential.  
  • Project management certification and/or certification in one agile framework (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban, Design Thinking) is of advantage. 
  • Training in quality management, process design and/or ISO MS certification is of advantage. 
  • Coaching certification is a plus.  

 

Working Experience, Style and Skills:  

  • Experience and strong track-record of practical project management and successful project delivery including process optimization projects. 
  • Successful track-record of leading programmes and delivering results in multicultural and challenging organisational contexts.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 
  • Quick to prioritize, summarize and assist in management decision making processes. 
  • Ability to perform well while handling/ overseeing simultaneously a number of projects. 
  • Empathic, people oriented and capable of building strong work relationships. 
  • Capable and willing to leave the spotlight to the actual project manager and primarily act as enabler, trainer and mentor in the background. 
  • Experience at a top-tier consulting firm is a plus.  

 

Leadership:  

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervising staff teams. 
  • At least 5 years in a project management position. 
  • Able to serve as a leading example and guiding post and establish authority also in a project management set up without direct reporting lines. 
  • Proven record of advancing, training and enhancing the capabilities of team members. 
  • Inclusive and motivational leadership style. 
  • Ability to get teams and management enthusiastic for project management principles, process optimization, OKR implementation and continuous learning on proven management methods. 

 

Computer Skills: 

Very good skills in the use of/experience with: 

  • Standard software packages (MS Office).  
  • Project management tools. 
  • Process design & documentation. 
  • OKR tools is a plus. 

 

Language and Communication Skills:  

  • Fluency in English.  
  • Other languages are a plus. 
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills in all languages. 

 

Terms and Conditions  

  • Location: Bonn, Germany. 
  • Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week. (part time of 75% or more could be considered). 
  • Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).  
  • Starting Date: as soon as possible. 
  • Travel: Sporadic travel could be required.
