The USAID-funded Clean Cities Blue Ocean (CCBO) project in the USA, implemented by Tetra Tech International Development, is currently accepting expressions of interest for Gender Technical Advisor. This position will be located in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Gender Technical Advisor will train CCBO grantees and government partners in gender and assist them in helping to transform gender roles and status to achieve gender equality.

Responsibilities:

* Implement gender empowerment in SWM training for grantees and government partners.

* Implement Occupational Safety Health (K3) training with Gender Based Violence Discussions for grantees and government partners.

* Enhance the existing modules on Gender in SWM and K3 with GBV for sharing and publication.

* Ensure the inclusion of gender empowerment principles and women’s economic empowerment in Solid Waste Management Masterplans developed for each of CCBO sites.

* Develop the report on the Gender Based Mapping of Informal Waste Collectors.

* Ensure that CCBO indicators and BAST relating to gender are achieved and reported.

* Document gender inclusive practices of the grantees and government partners.

* Other tasks as assigned by the Country Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Have a minimum of bachelor’s degree on social sciences, gender and development, or environment.

* Have over 5 years’ experience implementing gender mainstreaming activities for organizations (private sector, CSOs, and/or government.

* Lead in the development of training modules.

* Can facilitate training session on gender and development.
