Mission and objectives

Enable continuous access to education for children, youth, and teachers around the world and drive improved learning outcomes through high-quality, portable education to support their entry into other education or opportunity pathways, including formal education

Context

The Learning Passport was founded to address the challenges faced by millions of children and youth to access quality education due to disruptions caused by crises and displacement. The Learning Passport provides support to the UNICEF Syria Country Office to ensure children impacted by the earthquake and war have access to education.

Task description

We are seeking 2 Online Volunteers to support us by translating various educational content from English to Fohsa Arabic. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the various documents for primary and secondary school children that is on the topics of mental health support and disaster awareness - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed. The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the Learning Passport at UNICEF and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to the Learning Passport
