Mission and objectives

GLOWA fights against human trafficking and the damage it creates in our communities throughout the Northwest region of Cameroon through community education to prevent trafficking, support for victims, and advocacy on their behalf. Through these works, GLOWA aims to nurture a culture of respect for human rights, particularly those of children and women, in the region and fight against the systematic abuses faced by the most vulnerable.

Context

Our Rehabilitation and Stabilization Project for rescued victims of child trafficking is developing customized modules and related tools needed for the provision of hands-on vocational training in shoemaking to victims and potential victims of trafficking in Cameroon. In this regard, GLOWA is soliciting the support of online volunteer(s) to serve as a Subject Master Expert (SME) in shoemaking.

Task description

We are seeking the help of 2 online volunteers to provide the project team with guidance and knowledge about training in shoemaking. They will support the project team particularly to develop task and deliverables related to the training. Determine the appropriate relevant use of images for the training and provide any other guidance that will help the team adapt the training guide to the needs of lowly educated and traumatized survivors of trafficking.
