Duties and Responsibilities

Under the immediate supervision of the National Information Officer at the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Lima, Peru, the candidate is required to support with the production of graphic and audiovisual material to promote the Secretary General prioritized campaigns, by performing the following responsibilities:
- Creative development and production of audiovisual material
- Content planning for prioritized campaigns.
- Photographic/video coverage of UNIC/RCO activities
- Photographic/video portfolio of images registered during activities
- Organize and maintain a b-roll and photographic drive.
- Design of graphic material, such as banners for social media, brochures, and other publications
- Design of audiovisual material for sensibilization campaigns on the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals
- Design of templates for bulletins and other products to be shared within and outside the organization
- Social network management
- Production of contents for UN Peru's social media and web
- Monthly report of results, including key metrics, of social network to be used in strategic planning
- Proposal of strategies that may increase outreach results
- Compliance with UN graphic standards in all material produced
- Systematic, integrated and documented perspective of age, gender and diversity in all activities and production.
- Support relevant communications and information activities as required.

Qualifications/special skills

Candidates should have a degree in communications or graphic design or be enrolled in a
relevant university programme. It is also required that candidates have strong analytical skills in order
to identify the targets that are looked for according to UNIC plan, as well as ability to prepare material
accordingly.
Experience in graphic and audiovisual production.

Languages

Spanish (main language, preferably mother tongue) / English (advanced).
