Our programs seek to reduce disparities in outcomes which are driven by systemic inequality.

The GEDI marker

The GEDI Marker is a self-assessment tool that consists of 11 indicators that the project teams can assess to get a sense of if their project is GEDI Harmful, Sensitive or Transformative. For each indicator projects receive a score — 0 for GEDI Harmful, 1 for GEDI Sensitive or 2 for GEDI Transformative. Projects can be GEDI Harmful on one indicator, but GEDI Sensitive or Transformative on another.

Mission goals:

·         Creating a clean, simple, interactive, and sharp Excel spreadsheet, with openness to edit\adapt as needed;

·         Working collaboratively with the Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (GEDI) and the IT team to ensure the technical and visual design aspect of IRC GEDI Marker;

·         Using typography, color, and layout visually attractive, creative, and accessible for the GEDI marker designed for IRC staff and clients.

Requested tasks:

·         Providing assistance on the visual and technical aspects of the GEDI marker to ensure an effective data sorting and validation as well as accessible pages layout and charts;

• Provide recommendations on the best and most relevant inclusive visual design style and materials suitable for diverse audience.

Deliverables:

The consultant should be able to provide the deliverables below according to the timeline fixed upon signing the contract:

·     GEDI marker implementation and design phase (two separate documents with 23 Excel page each).
