The Grants Reporting Officer at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is responsible for managing the organization's grants, including support in proposal development, grant application process, and grant management.

The Reporting Officer would report to the Grants Coordinator and provide support as needed for the day-to-day administration of the grant projects. The Reporting Officer helps the Grants Coordinator to ensure that all aspects of the projects are running smoothly and effectively.

 

  •  Information Gathering: The Reporting Officer would gather information from different program areas, such as program managers, coordinators, and partners, to provide accurate, coherent, and timely information for reports and proposal writing.
  •  Report Editing and Review: The Reporting Officer would be responsible to support Grants Coordinator for reviewing and editing reports and proposals to ensure they are high quality, accurate, and meet the donor's requirements.
  •  Grant Management: The Reporting Officer would be responsible for managing the grant implementation process through IRCs Project Cycle Meetings, tracking the progress of grant applications, and flagging any information relevant to changes within the grant.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing grant proposals and budgets in collaboration with program staff
  •  Monitoring the progress of funded projects and ensuring compliance with grant requirements
  •  Support in writing clear, concise, and accurate reports that provide detailed information on the organization's programs and activities.
  •  Assisting with the development of grant proposals and budgets
  •  Maintaining accurate records of grant activities
  •  Providing regular reports on the grant program's activities and impact
  •  Implementing IRCs Project Cycle Meetings for each grant
  •  Flagging any concerns or changes in grants
