MAMTA HIMC is implementing a project with a focus on improved Mother and Child Health outcomes amongst the rural population in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Currently, MAMTA-HIMC is looking for a suitable candidate in the capacity of Regional Manager for the successful implementation of the project.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

The Regional Manager is a middle-level management position. The Regional Manager will primarily be responsible for the implementation of the project in the targeted geography. Broadly, this will include human resource and financial management, training & capacity building of field staff, excellent project management skills, managing stakeholders, technological innovation, data quality maintenance, support documentation, and reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain the database of the project staff and coordinate with the HR team from time to time for HR management.
• Monitor and manage the financial component of the project in coordination with the finance team.
• Develop capacity-building modules and innovative training materials/case studies/tools etc. as per the requirement of the project.
• Effective coordination with the field team and providing technical support and guidance in planning, implementing and reporting various project activities;
• Manage the project effectively by preparing work plans, monitoring the progress of project activities, having regular review meetings with staff, and identifying the bottlenecks in implementation and possible solutions for successful outputs.
• Develop effective liaisons with health officials and other stakeholders.
• Writing reports on a monthly or quarterly basis (as per requirement) and timely submission to concerned authorities including case stories.
• Ensure excellent data quality and undertake data analysis to measure the output indicators.
• Undertake field visits on a regular interval within project areas/other locations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Competent Authority

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s in medical/public health with 5 years of experience or Masters in medical/public health with 3 years of experience.
• Candidates with experience working in managerial roles especially, in MCH-related programs/ Public health will be given preference.

Competencies:

• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Good documentation/report writing skills.
• Written and verbal fluency in English.
• Verifiable skills in Human Resource management.
• Working knowledge of mobile-based reporting system if necessary
• Capacity building & training skills
• Good computer skills (Microsoft excel, word)
• Data management and analytical skills

Salary:

Salary will be commensurate with the previous drawn salary, qualification, and experience.
